Roake
Tears ACL will miss 2007 Season
Lindsay
Roake tore the ACL of her right knee during a soccer game in Roanoke
Va on 8/31/07. It is unclear if it was a contact or non contact
injury, as there was contact associated with the injury. Lindsay
was evaluated and treated in the athletic training room and a
meniscal injury and possible ACL injury was suspected. This was
confirmed in her orthopedic evaluation and with her MRI. The loss
of the junior back is compounded by the loss of Sam Bean also
to an ACL injury. Roake played in 19 games
last year for the Ospreys. She will complete rehab 3-4 days per
week until her surgery to regain as much motion and strength as
possible. We expect her to have her surgery in about 3 weeks.
