BRIAN KLEIN AND ERIC LEWIS NAMED TO NSCAA/ADIDAS
METRO REGION MEN’S SOCCER TEAM

Brian Klein
Eric Lewis
Two Richard Stockton men’s soccer players were recognized with all-region honors by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Senior back Brian Klein (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) was named to the NSCAA/adidas Metro Region Second Team and junior midfielder Eric Lewis (Dover, DE/Caesar Rodney) was voted to the NSCAA/adidas Metro Region Third Team. Both players were first-time all-region honorees.

Klein started 21 of 22 games for the Ospreys in 2006. As Stockton’s top back, he anchored a defense that ranked third in the NJAC with a 0.76 goals against average. Offensively, Klein scored two goals, including one game-winner, and one assist for five points. He also was a two-time NJAC All-Conference selection during his four-year career at Stockton, including an NJAC First Team nod this season.

Lewis played in all 22 games and started 20 matches for the Ospreys, who went 14-6-2 on the year. He tied for second on the team with six goals and also dished two assists for a total of 14 points. In addition to his all-region honor, Lewis also is a two-time NJAC All-Conference player. He was named to the NJAC Second Team this season and he was an NJAC Honorable Mention choice as a freshman in 2004.
