  KELLY CHIN SELECTED TO ESPN THE MAGAZINE ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT II AT-LARGE TEAM
   
  Richard Stockton women’s tennis player Kelly Chin (Clark/Colonia) was recognized for her work in the classroom with selection to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II Women’s At-Large Team. Chin was named to the College Division Second Team. The squad was chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Chin was a Business Studies major at Stockton with a 3.90 grade point average. She graduated magna cum laude from Stockton on May 6. Last fall, Chin registered 6-3 records in both singles and doubles for the Stockton women’s tennis team, earning NJAC All-Conference recognition in singles. Chin was a four-year letter winner who finished with career records of 31-14 in singles and 24-11 in doubles. Academically, she was a two-time NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention performer and a Stockton Scholar Athlete.

The CoSIDA District II College Division consists of all non-Division I schools in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. Nominees must be a starter or important reserve with at least sophomore academic and athletic standing and a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average. The at-large category includes student-athletes from 13 women’s sports such as field hockey, golf, lacrosse, rowing, swimming and tennis.
