Coach: Tom Hewitt
Tom Hewitt enters his third season as the head women's rowing coach
at Stockton. Hewitt, who is U.S. Rowing Level III certified, came to Stockton
after a three-year coaching stint at Rutgers University where he served
as coach of the freshman heavyweight squad as well as assistant coach
to the varsity heavyweight squad. Prior to coaching at Rutgers, Hewitt
was the head coach of the University of California Santa Barbara Men's
Rowing Club from 1999-2001 and head coach of the men's varsity lightweight
crew team at Columbia from 1987-1990.
In addition
to his collegiate coaching experience, Hewitt most recently coached the
United States National Adaptive Rowing Team based out of Philadelphia.
Hewitt traveled with the team to the World Rowing Championships in Milan,
Italy in the summer of 2003 where the team won a gold medal in doubles
rowing and a bronze in the singles row.
Now a Ventnor
resident, Hewitt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Columbia
in 1986. Hewitt currently works as a web design assistant and office coordinator
for the Row2k.com website and teaches seminars to certify beginning rowing
coaches. Hewitt also coaches the Stockton men's rowing team, which competes
on the club level.

Drew McCrosson
Drew McCrosson returns for his seventh season as the assistant
rowing coach at Stockton. McCrosson is U.S. Rowing Level II certified
and he also has coached at the Viking Rowing Club. He rowed on the collegiate
level at Villanova, where he later served as the men's freshman coach.
McCrosson continues to compete with both the Viking and Brigantine Rowing
Club masters programs. He is the city administrator for the City of Ventnor.
