Head Coach: Nick Juengert
Nick Juengert continues to shape the Stockton women’s soccer program as he enters his fourth year as the head coach. Juengert’s three previous Stockton teams each advanced to the NJAC tournament semifinals and his first two seasons yielded back-to-back ECAC Metro championships. He has built a solid foundation for the program by attracting a high number of talented recruits to Stockton.

Last season, Juengert brought in his largest recruiting class to date with the arrival of 17 freshmen. After an 0-5-1 start, his patience and commitment to his young players paid dividends as Stockton went 7-4-1 the rest of the way, with three of the losses coming against ranked opponents.

Juengert guided the Ospreys to a tie for second place in the NJAC and a 14-6-2 final record in 2004. Wins over Kean and Drew gave Stockton its third consecutive ECAC title and second with Juengert on the bench. Juengert made an impressive debut as the Stockton’s head coach in 2003 as the Ospreys jumped out to a 7-0 start that included an upset of second-ranked Messiah. They achieved a #6 national ranking on September 30 and went on to win the 2003 ECAC Metro championship, capping a successful first campaign for their new mentor at 15-4-2.

Juengert became the head coach of the Ospreys following a six-year stint as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Rider University. As a member of the Broncs’ staff, he helped Rider win MAAC championships and earn NCAA Tournament berths in 1997 and 1998. Prior to joining the Rider staff, Juengert went 73-32-7 in six seasons as the head men’s coach at Burlington County College. In 1996, the Barons finished as the national runner-up and Juengert was named the NSCAA Junior College National Coach of the Year, Region XIX Coach of the Year and Garden State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.

Juengert also completed assistant coach stints at BCC, Willingboro High School and SUNY New Paltz, and he has worked with the New Jersey Olympic Development Program and the Medford Strikers Soccer Club. As a player, Juengert spent two seasons on the soccer team at Burlington County College before earning two letters in soccer at Rutgers University. He possesses a bachelor’s degree in physical education and sports management from Rutgers.
