Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Allison Walker
Allison Walker takes over as the new head coach of the Stockton volleyball team this season. Walker assumed her duties on March 1, 2006 and this will be her first foray into coaching on the college level. She is a bright and energetic young coach who will be seeking to continue the tradition set by her predecessors and bring Stockton volleyball to new heights in the coming years.

Walker owns prior coaching experience at both the high school and club levels. She served as an assistant coach at Winslow Township High School last year and also spent two seasons as an assistant at Hawthorne High School. In addition, Walker completed a three-year stint as a head coach for the Cut Shot Volleyball Club, a program that yielded Stockton volleyball alumna Whitney Verduin and current Ospreys Amanda Burkart and Christine Aletras.

In addition to her coaching background, Walker was an accomplished player on the NCAA Division III level at Muhlenberg College. A four-year letter winner for the Mules, she broke eight school records and finished her career with over 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs. Walker was an All-Centennial Conference First Team honoree in 1999 and an All-Centennial Conference Second Team selection in 1998. She also was recognized as a member of the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll in both years.

Walker graduated from Muhlenberg in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and later earned a Master of Social Work diploma from Rutgers University. She is employed full-time as a social worker for the Winslow Township School District.

Langan graduated from Ramapo College, where he was a member of the basketball team. He is also active in USVBA club play and he served on the Atlanta Olympics Volleyball Security Team in 1996. Langan lives with his wife Sandy and two daughters in Millville, NJ. He is a Regional Chief Ranger of the New Jersey State Park System. In 2002, Langan won the Mayor’s Award as Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.
