CSIS 3230 - Spring 2012

This course introduces the principles and technologies of modern computer networks.  Topics include network topologies, networking protocols, the layered approach to data communications, the TCP/IP model, client/server systems, network applications, and security.  Course includes hands-on labs that involve configuring a Linux Local Area Network in the D017 lab.
