Three Richard Stockton women’s basketball players have been named to the NJAC All-Conference Team, which was announced today by league commissioner Terry Small. Lisa Neira (Cresskill/Cresskill) was voted to the NJAC Second Team for the second consecutive year. Alicia Morris (Easthampton/Rancocas Valley) and Jenna Shenk (Mt. Laurel/Bishop Eustace) were NJAC Honorable Mention selections for the Ospreys, who have a 13-13 record.

Neira, a junior, has established herself as one of the top point guards in the league with back-to-back NJAC Second Team honors. She ranks fourth in the NJAC in free throw percentage (.783) and seventh in assists (2.84 apg). Neira leads Stockton in assists and minutes played (33.1 mpg) while also standing second on the team in scoring (10.2 ppg), free throw percentage and steals (1.48 spg).

Morris was named to the NJAC Second Team in 2006 prior to collecting an NJAC Honorable Mention nod this year. In addition to scoring 7.3 points per game, Morris ranks third in the league in rebounds (9.0 rpg) and fifth in blocked shots (1.31 bpg). She leads the Ospreys in both categories as well as steals (1.62 spg). A senior, Morris recently became Stockton’s all-time leading rebounder with 809 career boards.

Shenk earned her first NJAC all-conference award as a senior this year. She is Stockton’s leading scorer (11.0 ppg) and she stands second in the NJAC in three-point field goal percentage (.353), fourth in three-pointers (1.88/game) and 10th in scoring. Shenk has started a team-high 25 of Stockton’s 26 games. With 49 three-pointers this year, Shenk has become the career leader for the program with 186 treys in her four seasons.
