Internships are a fantastic way to test out career possibilities, gain experience in the careers you are considering and make connections with professionals in your field of choice. Internships come in a variety of shapes and sizes - they can be done in the summer or during the academic year; they can be done for credit or not for credit; and they can be paid and unpaid. The Career Center can assist you with many aspects of finding and pursuing an internship:
- Make an appointment with a career advisor to plan out your strategy for finding an internship, prepare you resume and learn what resources are available to help you find a great opportunity.

Every academic school at Stockton has different procedures and requirements for doing an internship for academic credit. Therefore it is up to you to contact your academic school to find out what you need to do if you'd like to receive credit for an internship experience. Please note that students in the School of Business who are planning on taking the Business Internship Class will need to make an appoinment with a Career Advisor in the Career Center to have their resume approved before gaining permission to register for the class.
