Instructional Continuity Planning - Blackboard Collaborate Teleconferencing

Blackboard Collaborate provides an online meeting space for live class lectures online. It can also be used to simply set up a teleconferencing session.

Capabilities
  • Conduct synchronous group discussions via telephone
  • No need to exchange personal telephone numbers
  • Discussions can be recorded for later review
Resources and preparation needed
  • Instructor – Computer and Internet access and telephone with available long distance minutes
  • Students – Telephone with available long distance minutes
