GALLOWAY TWP., NJ When Richard Stockton College Student Jon Furtado and his fraternity brothers from Kappa Sigma, and the sisters from Delta Delta Sorority, were looking for a way to get involved in the community, they didnt have to travel very far.

We visited Absecon Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and saw a fantastic opportunity to be a good neighbor, Furtado said.

The students toured the facility and spent some time with the residents and after getting to know some of them found that they enjoyed the television program Password. As a result, the students came up with the idea to conduct a unique event.

We are calling it the Easter Ball and Four on Four Password Challenge, Furtado said. We will have a Password match against some of the residents and accompany them to one of their meal functions. Its really just a way for us to get to know some of them and for them to get to know some of us.

The event will be held Friday March 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Absecon Manor, 1020 Pitney Road in Absecon.

We are hoping this will be a way for us to establish a long-lasting relationship with the facility and help exchange ideas between our respective generations, Furtado said.
