2017 Institutional Program Review
Stockton University’s strategic planning process, including the annual Institutional Program Review, aligns the University’s executive units with the institutional themes (LEGS), perspectives and objectives outlined in the Stockton 2020 strategy map.
The key priorities of Stockton’s planning and budgeting process affirm the University’s pledge to maintain an interdisciplinary approach to learning and to provide students with a diverse, high quality educational experience.
Planning for the FY18 budget year (which runs July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018) began in the Fall of 2016, when the President’s Cabinet began soliciting and gathering requests from their various departments and units. In February 2017, the Cabinet met for a mini budget retreat to present these key FY18 requests to one another. In mid-March 2017, Cabinet held a full strategic planning retreat to collaboratively build a final draft of the University’s operating and capital requests. On March 30, 2017, these requests were presented to the University community at the 2017 Institutional Program Review.
Updates on the University’s budget and strategic planning efforts will be presented at this year’s Fall Faculty Conference. If you have any questions about Stockton’s planning process or timeline, please contact: Peter Baratta, Chief Planning Officer, at x6080 or firstname.lastname@example.org
