Astrophysics, Computer Science (Applications Design and Developent), Computational Physics
Over 40 years of experience in scientific computing, programming languages, software design, compiler design/implementation, performance measurement and modeling/simulation. Familiar with a wide range of computing machinery from PCs to mainframes. Conversant in over 20 computer languages and packages. Taught physics, computer science and astronomy at Rutgers for 20 years before going to industry.
A full member of the American Astrophysical Society and a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers.
Industry activities involve design and implementation of aspects of Flight Modeling, trajectory synthesis, geospatial computations, Flight Analysis, and Corridor Integrated Weather Systems (CIWS) Software design. Responsible for all aspects of training for FAA customers from creating BOE to teaching in-class courses; scheduling and budgets. Responsible for reference manual documentation, On-line help, Computer Based Instruction and Instructor-Led classroom materials.
