Join us for an in-depth exploration of New Jersey’s representative curricula: Holocaust & Genocide, Amistad, LGBTQIA+, Persons with Disabilities, & Asian American and Pacific Islanders. This unique symposium delves into the complexities and the lessons learned from teaching about the diversity of New Jersey. After the symposium, educators will leave with an enhanced understanding of the representative curricula and with up-to-date resources to develop effective educational approaches to teaching these subjects, both in and out of the classroom.

Participants will be able to learn from fellow educators and experts in this content area along with Holocaust scholars and Holocaust Survivors Maud Dahme and Leo Ullman, both hidden children in the Netherlands during World War II.
