Resumes & Cover Letters

To start your resume, you should proceed as follows:

  • Download Stockton's Resume Writing Guide (PDF format) and/or check out the Campus Career Coach Resume Guide.
  • Create a typed draft of your resume.  We strongly recommend you use MS Word (do NOT use templates).
  • Have a career ambassador take a first look at your resume during Resume Rush: Monday through Wednesday (11:00am-12:30pm), in front of the Career Center - Suite 104 in the Campus Center.  Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Schedule an appointment with a career advisor in the Career Center to have your resume critiqued by visiting our Appointment Scheduling Page.
