What You'll Do
Every semester looks a little different, but members may have opportunities to:
- Welcome alumni and guests at signature university events
- Represent Stockton as an official student ambassador
- Plan and support alumni engagement programs
- Promote school spirit and campus traditions
- Lead student philanthropy initiatives
- Support University Weekend, Ospreys Give, and Grad Finale
- Connect students with alumni through networking opportunities
- Serve as Talon performers or handlers (for trained members)

No previous leadership experience is required.
Alumni Engagement
Help create meaningful experiences that connect students and alumni through networking events, volunteer opportunities, career conversations, and campus celebrations.
Senior Class Gift
Lead the class giving campaign by encouraging graduating seniors to celebrate their Stockton experience through philanthropy and class participation.
Ospreys Give
Support Stockton's annual day of giving by educating students about the impact of philanthropy and encouraging participation across campus.
Campus Traditions
Celebrate the traditions that make Stockton unique while helping create new experiences for future generations of Ospreys.
Talon Ambassador Program
Qualified members may serve as Talon performers or handlers at approved university, alumni, and community events.
Students interested in taking on additional responsibility can apply to serve on the Executive Board.
President
Provides strategic leadership for the organization while representing SAA across campus and within University Advancement.
Vice President
Supports organizational leadership, oversees initiatives, and assists with long-term planning and member engagement.
Secretary & Communications Chair
Manages internal communications, meeting documentation, and organizational updates.
Membership & Recruitment Chair
Leads recruitment efforts, onboarding, and member engagement throughout the academic year.
Events & Traditions Chair
Coordinates opportunities and supports event planning and execution.
Philanthropy & Senior Class Gift Chair
Leads philanthropy education initiatives and coordinates the Senior Class Gift campaign.
As an SAA member, you'll receive opportunities to:

Who can apply?
Any currently enrolled Stockton undergraduate student in good academic standing is encouraged to apply.
How much time does SAA require?
Members participate in meetings, training and volunteer opportunities throughout the semester. Time commitments vary depending on your level of involvement and leadership role.
Do I need experience?
Not at all. We're looking for students who are enthusiastic, dependable and excited to represent Stockton.
Is there an application process?
Yes. Interested students complete an application and may participate in an interview before being invited to join.
