Ida E. King Distinguished Visiting Professors of Holocaust Studies

The Ida E. King Distinguished Visiting Professor of Holocaust Studies is an endowed chair named in memory of Dr. Vera King Farris’ mother in 1990. Dr. Farris was President of Stockton from 1983 – 2003. Dr. Farris was a visionary who helped to develop Stockton’s Holocaust Resource Center.

The Ida E. King Distinguished Visiting Professor of Holocaust Studies annually brings to Stockton, a different scholar of international reputation to teach and do research in the field of Holocaust studies as well as to interact with students, faculty, and the community.
