Pro-Active Minds Thriving in College

Pro-Active Minds Thriving in College is an ongoing project with a mental health therapist and students from Stockton University.

The group performs outreach to local high schools with the intention of proactively addressing common mental health and adjustment challenges that arise when entering college. The presentation(s) will include signs and symptoms, as well as ways to help yourself and others. The presentations will also help with developing a realistic and achievable plan to stay healthy and improve wellness by developing alternative healthy outlets.  Below are some of the topics that could be discussed:

  • Depression/Suicide
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Drug and Alcohol Abuse
  • Disordered Eating
  • Other Specialized Topics
