The Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality & Tourism (LIGHT) at Stockton University was established to provide a forum for public policy discussions regarding the gaming, hospitality and tourism industries of our region. In service of this mission and in support of the University’s commitment to playing a central role in issues that are vital to the economic and social wellbeing or our community and region, LIGHT engages members of the Stockton community (faculty, staff, students and neighbors), local community and industry leaders in five key activities:

Training
Professional training and learning opportunities that provide the latest in-demand skills, knowledge and abilities.

LIGHT in partnership with the Office of Continuing Studies made the difficult transition to delivering these training opportunities online in compliance with public health and safety precautions. Since January 1, 2020 LIGHT and its training partners have served 25 clients assisting them in earning 29 industry valued credentials and certificates.

Workforce Development

Work First New Jersey

Opportunity Youth Collaborative
