Moses V. Goldmon
Vice President for Enrollment Management
Moses V. Goldmon, Ed.D., was appointed Vice President for Enrollment Management at Stockton University on February 23, 2026. As Stockton’s chief enrollment officer, Dr. Goldmon works in close collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team to develop an institutional vision and direction for an effective strategic enrollment management plan and process to support the University’s priorities of student recruitment and retention, student success and engagement, and academic excellence. He develops strategies to cultivate and strengthen relationships with students, families, alumni, and various community partners. He ensures efficient enrollment operations, data management practices, and clear insights into Stockton’s enrollment trends in New Jersey and the region.
Goldmon has more than four decades of experience in higher education and a deeply student centered approach to leadership. His core values are rooted in the belief that caring relationships are the foundation of teamwork and success. Throughout his career, he has advanced enrollment strategy, student success, and institutional effectiveness across a range of public, private, and mission-driven institutions. His work consistently reflects a commitment to access, equity, and creating environments where students are supported, engaged, and able to thrive.
In his executive level roles in Enrollment Management and Student Success, he led significant gains in applications, new student enrollment, and transfer enrollment, while strengthening orientation, retention, and student success initiatives. Across these roles, he has been recognized for building collaborative teams, using data informed strategies, and aligning enrollment management with institutional mission and student success. Goldmon’s career also reflects a strong commitment to community engagement, shared governance, and leadership grounded in integrity and care.
He has led successful fundraising and resource development efforts securing over $26 million in philanthropic gifts, grants, research and programmatic initiatives to support student success, promote graduate and professional school opportunities and foster partnerships that benefit both campuses and the communities. Moses has published training and resource manuals and numerous peer reviewed research and scholarly articles in journals such as Health Promotion Practice; Journal of the National Medical Association; Progress in Community Health Partnership: Research, Education and Action; Journal of Palliative Medicine; NC Medical Journal, Academic Medicine, Journal of Religion, Spirituality, and Aging; and the Journal of Religion and Health;
He has served in executive leadership roles as Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management & Student Success at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Vice-Chancellor for Student Engagement at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, Executive Vice-President and Chaplain at Lane College, and Director of the Institute for Health, Social and Community Research at Shaw University. He has also served in faculty, community engaged scholarship, administrative, and student success roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, North Carolina Central University and Iowa State University.
Goldmon holds a Doctor of Health Education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville; a Master of Physical Education in Sports Administration from Iowa State University; a Master of Religious Education from Shaw University Divinity School; and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
He has completed five executive level leadership programs: Harvard Kennedy School’s Authentic Leadership Executive Education Course, Delta Regional Authorities Leadership Institute Executive Academy, the Council of Independent Colleges Presidential Vocation and Institutional Mission Program, Leadership Winston-Salem, and the National Public Health Leadership Institute.
Goldmon resides in Mays Landing with his wife of 38 years. Together, they have two young adult daughters.
