Designed for hospitality professionals, this series will feature history, current trends, basic manufacturing, tourism, and sensory experiences to the New Jersey Craft Beverage Industry. All seminars are taught by experts with local, national and global experiences in their fields. Individuals who complete all 4 seminars receive a certificate of completion. Participants are encouraged to bring their colleagues, questions, and business cards, as this series encourages networking and knowledge sharing.

Meet our instructors:


Shawn Grigus is a founding member & current President of the South Jersey Wine & Ale Trail.  He is also the owner of former Tap It Homebrew Supply Club and co-owner & Brewmaster of Tomfoolery Brewing Company. Shawn received his B.S. in Biochemistry and M.S. in Molecular Biology from Temple University and taught classes at Temple and Stockton University. He is an award winning homebrewer, former Board Member of New Jersey Brewers Association and former test engineer at the Department of Homeland Security, Science & Technology Division. Shawn is also Serv-Safe Alcohol Certified, Serv-Safe Food Manager Certified, a member of AHA (American Homebrewer’s Association) and BA (Brewers Association).
