IJGHT Call For Papers

The International Journal of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism (IJGHT)
is seeking student submissions for a special issue
to be published in Spring of 2027.

IJGHT is a peer reviewed, open access journal publishing original research that bridges the gap between industry practitioners, and academic researchers and educators. In alignment with this mission, the editors of IJGHT present a high-impact learning opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of gaming, hospitality, tourism and event management.

As early career practitioners, students’ perspectives on the industry, assessment of its appeal to their peers and views on how the industry can greet future challenges and opportunities are of particular interest to the journal. Manuscripts responding to these and other themes within the journal’s areas of focus are sought to form a special issue featuring student work.

 

Works submitted to IJGHT should conform to the formatting of the template and respond to the assessment rubric provided for “Industry Commentary.”

Submissions within the journal’s areas of focus will be accepted for review
through December 15, 2026.

 

Works meeting the quality standards of the journal will be accepted for publication, the best of these will be recognized as “Best Paper.” Best paper authors (maximum 4 individuals) will each receive an Amazon E-Gift Card worth $50.00 as well as recognition in a public press release.
