Coursedog Resources

Coursedog is a centralized workflow platform that supports curriculum and scheduling processes. It allows users to create and edit courses, propose academic offerings (such as majors and minors), build and manage course sections, and add courses to the schedule for specific terms. Academic programs can also update their public-facing program pages in the Bulletin directly through Coursedog.

Tips and Tricks
If more than one instructor is assigned to a course section in Coursedog, one instructor must be designated as the primary instructor. Any additional instructors will be listed as non-primary. You may adjust the percentage of instruction for each instructor as needed; however, the total percentage must equal 100%.

Schedule types and instructional methods have specific pairings and must be matched correctly in Coursedog. If they are not aligned, a red error message will appear at the top of the course.

Changing the campus on an existing section requires you to delete the days and times in order to remove the room assignment. Once the days/times/room line is deleted, you may add it back to the course. Rooms on the new campus will be assigned by the Registrar’s Office.
