Course Related
If the course you are trying to register for has a waitlist, be sure to add yourself to the waitlist. Monitor the you Stockton email to see if a seat in the course opens up.
If a course is full and you are the first student on the waitlist, you may email the professor with a request to be accepted in the the course as an additional student, above the course capacity.
If the professor is willing to accept you into the course, he or she will contact the Assistant Dean, who will review and respond to your request. Registration in coures above the set capacity is a rare occurance and is usually permitted only under exceptional circumstances.
As with the usual course registration process, priority registration goes to the student in the first position on the waitlist.
The first course of action for a student having an issue with an assignment, course, grade, or professor is to meet with the professor to discuss their concerns.
If you cannot to come to a resolution, the matter is referred to the Assistant Dean and the Dean. Please fill out the ARHU Assistance Request Form as a first step. This will notify the office of the issue and we can then research and get back to you with a resolution.

To register for a course that requires a Permission of Instructor (POI), email the professor teaching the course to request that they issue you an electronic permit. Once they have issued it, you will be able to register yourself in the course.
Be sure to click on the course title to check that you meet the course prerequisites and registration restrictions.
You may also complete the Permission of Instructor Request Form.
An undergraduate student may repeat a course and apply the credits toward graduation, unless otherwise noted in the University Bulletin, course catalog, or program handbook. Grade replacement is permitted when an undergraduate student earns a C- or lower grade in a course, if the limit on repeating courses has not been exceeded.

All major and minor changes/declarations must be submitted digitally.
To make a request, log in to your Go Stockton portal. Access your Student Services tab > Student Tools > Change of Major/Minor.
Students interested in Dance are subject to review.
Students meet with their preceptor once a semester (one day for first-year and sophomore students, one day for junior and senior students) to plan their course schedule for the following semester.
Preceptorial Advising Days and the days students can begin registering for classes (based on number of earned credits) can be found on the University Academic Calendar.

Reach out to the faculty member who you would like to Once you have found a preceptor (usually a faculty member in your major) and they have agreed to be your preceptor, they will need to accept you as their preceptee in the GoStockton Portal.

Piano Practice Rooms and Instruments
Please go the Bursar's Office and pay the $25 fee to obtain a key form. The Bursar's Office will scan the completed key form and send it to Brian Lyons.
You must also complete The Piano Practice Room Contract and email that along with a copy of your Student ID to Brian Lyons. Please note that there is a one-hour limit on using a piano practice room.
