Basic Life Support and First Aid Training and Certification

BLS-First Aid

These OSHA approved CPR/AED/First Aid courses incorporate the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. The training modules meet requirements for healthcare providers and public safety professionals. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certification from the Red Cross valid for two years.

Dan Hickson is the supervisor of the Stockton University Atlantic City ITS HelpDesk.  Dan has his BS in Public Health Community Health Education from Stockton University.  He has been teaching all levels of First Aid CPR/AED for the American Red Cross since 2005. Not only does he teach it, he has also put it to use. Dan has been in the emergency services since he was 15.  He has been involved with EMS going on 17 years now and a Firefighter for 7 years.  Dan is also a Captain in the Absecon Volunteer Fire Department Compay #1 and currently working on his Masters in Instructional Technology at Stockton University.
