Coursedog Academic Scheduling

Coursedog Academic Scheduling is Stockton University’s system for developing and managing the academic course schedule.
Authorized faculty and staff use the platform to submit and review scheduling information, including course sections, meeting times, instructors, and room assignments.
The system applies scheduling rules and identifies potential conflicts involving classrooms, instructors, and meeting times. It also provides information about enrollment, space utilization, and meeting-pattern distribution to help the University create balanced schedules that support student access to required courses and make effective use of campus facilities.

Multiple instructors in Coursedog
If more than one instructor is assigned to a course section in Coursedog, one instructor must be designated as the primary instructor. Any additional instructors will be listed as non-primary. You may adjust the percentage of instruction for each instructor as needed; however, the total percentage must equal 100%.

Schedule type and instructional method
Schedule types and instructional methods have specific pairings and must be matched correctly in Coursedog. If they are not aligned, a red error message will appear at the top of the course.

Campus changes
Changing the campus on an existing section requires you to delete the days and times in order to remove the room assignment. Once the days/times/room line is deleted, you may add it back to the course. Rooms on the new campus will be assigned by the Registrar’s Office.

The planning team will update this website as new information and resources become available.
