Elizabeth Throesch earned her Ph.D. at the University of Leeds (English Literature) and her M.A. (Literature, Culture, and Modernity) at the University of Southampton, both in the United Kingdom; her B.A. (English) is from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include equity in student success and belonging, writing pedagogy, Modernism, the intersections between literature and science, game studies, and the history of superhero comics. Her publications include articles in web and print journals, book chapters, and a monograph titled Before Einstein: The Fourth Dimension in Fin-de-Siècle Literature and Culture.
