Stockton's EAP program is provided by Deer Oaks and launched in January 2018.
The Deer Oaks Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free service provided for employees and all members of their household by Stockton University. This program offers a wide variety of counseling, referral, and consultation services, which are all designed to assist employees and their family in resolving work/life issues in order to live happier, healthier, more balanced lives. These services are completely confidential and can be easily accessed by calling the toll-free Helpline listed below.
The Employee Relations page shares information on both ourEmployee Engagement programs including Bring Your Child to Work Day, the annual Employee Recognition Breakfast, and Stockton's Community Celebration/BBQ, and all information related to Labor Relations including union information, classification information, the grievance process, and salary schedules.

The Ombuds Officer’s role is:
- To assist the Stockton community (Faculty, Staff & Students) by helping resolve employee conflict(s) in an informal manner that is consistent with alternative dispute resolution best practices.
- To serve the Stockton community by providing a safe, neutral, confidential and flexible resource.
- To help Stockton community members better navigate the network of employee services available to them.
Classified staff are evaluated using the Performance Appraisal Review (PAR). The evaluation cycle for PAR runs October 1 through September 30. More info on the PAR process can be found onthis page.
Unclassified AFT Professionals and Faculty are evaluated per the AFT contract requirements.

Managers are evaluated using the Manager Evaluation Review (MER). The evaluation cycle runs from July through June. The reappointment process for the following evaluation cycle takes places every mid-July through October.
